New Light.

It All Came Rushing Out. . .

For the past couple weeks I've been feeling as though I'm walking on the surface of my life, instead of being deeply immersed. I kept picturing this big bubble and me walking along the exterior in complete circles. Trapped on a bulbous treadmill. Then, something snapped. Thursday evening (my ME day) ended with the beginning of a new painting. The energy bled into Friday night, then Saturday afternoon and today (Sunday) too. The bubble finally burst:

I made 6 backgrounds and 2 big pieces. These big wood pieces have been waiting in my garage since December. I forgot all about them. I have to keep reminding myself not to buy more stuff. Enough stuff. All i need is Less!

My work has been lighter, brighter, and a little more simple. It feels so right, right now.
Close ups:
"It all came rushing out."
This girl is my favorite I've done so far.
People are always telling me my girls look sad, melancholy, or darkly in a sense. I don't intend for them to look sad. I think maybe because they aren't always smiling hugely. Its open to interpretation I suppose.

Background waiting...
Like my new fuzzy pink kitchen rug? lol

I was thinking about stitching this on. It's one of the first stamps I made that I showed you guys before.

Saturday was bright and sunny, then Sunday it rained all day.

Hope everyone had nice weekends and whatever needed to rush out of you found it's way. I'd love to hear about it!
